Getting around Milton Keynes couldn’t be easier thanks to its excellent local road network and 125 miles of footpaths and cycleways called the Redway system. However, if you’re a commuter who needs to go further afield then Stratford Park is definitely the place to be as Wolverton is well served by both road and rail. The nearby A5 provides simple access to many local towns to the north and south while junction 14 of the M1 motorway is just seven miles away. This gives commuters quick and convenient access to many neighbouring towns and cities including Northampton (30 mins), Luton (45 mins), St Albans (50 mins) and Leicester (1 hour). It also allows for easy connection to many of the UK’s other motorways and main A-roads including the M40, M6 and M25.

Close to junction 14 is Milton Keynes Coachway, a major stopping point for long distance coaches which offers services to cities and towns on the M1 corridor and onto Scotland; the east-west route to Oxford and Cambridge; and to London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

Wolverton railway station is less than a mile from Stratford Park and provides at least two services an hour with London Midland Trains northbound to Northampton (14 minutes) and southbound towards London Euston (1 hour). Alternatively you can change at Milton Keynes Central (3 minutes) for regular fast trains on the West Coast Main Line northbound to Birmingham (55 mins), Crewe (1 hour 6 mins) and Manchester (1 hour 38 mins) and southbound to Watford Junction (25 mins) and London Euston (36 mins). Other local services also serve Coventry (29 mins) and Rugby (39 mins), while trains also run south from Milton Keynes to East Croydon via West London.

Stratford Park is also perfect for those wishing to travel by air, whether going abroad to a European city on business or jetting off on holiday, with Luton Airport just a 45-minute drive away. London Heathrow is also accessible in approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
